This month I will be speaking at the Global Mining Finance Conference in London, UK. For those of you based in or near London, the precise location is The Armourers’ Hall, located in the City of London.

I will be speaking in London

The primary goal is to ensure the investment community in general is kept informed regarding the most recent Fission successes. However, it is also an excellent opportunity to meet in person with some of our UK shareholders. With the mining sector still at a low ebb there are fewer conferences than previously but on the plus side, the ones that remain tend to be of higher quality and thus better attended.

It’s a one day event and, as the name suggests, is meant to be focused on global projects. However, uranium in Saskatchewan is one of the four major topics being covered. I feel that says a great deal for where the interest of the mining investment community lies.

There will also be a focus on projects in South East Asia and Australia and of course a talk on global mining projects in today’s economic climate.

News about Triple R

If you’ve been following Fission’s press releases recently, you’ll know that we have a lot of news to talk about with shareholders. The winter 2015/16 drill program resulted in yet another new zone being discovered (the R840W) – a shallow, high-grade and land-based zone that we discovered while pushing further west from the Triple R deposit towards the uranium boulder field. The program also transformed the R1620E into a high-grade zone and substantially increased the foot print of the R600W zone. It’s important to remember that none of these zones are part of the Triple R deposit at this time.

We haven’t yet released details of the summer program at PLS and I can’t steal Ross’ thunder. What I can say is that with the success of the winter program, we are all very excited at our prospects for the next round of drilling.
